DATE A LIVE - Kurumi Tokisaki - Figure Relax Time 12cm

Meet Kurumi Tokisaki, one of the most iconic characters from Date A Live, with this figure from the Relax Time range, measuring approximately 12 cm. This collection showcases the heroines in more natural and relaxed poses, far removed from battle scenes, to better highlight their personalities and everyday appearance.

Kurumi is depicted in a calm and elegant pose that contrasts with her usual image as a particularly dangerous Spirit. The sculpture retains the character’s instantly recognisable features, notably her long black hair and distinctive gaze, whilst embracing the gentle aesthetic characteristic of the Relax Time range.

With its compact 12 cm size, this figurine fits easily on a shelf, a desk or in a display cabinet. It is the ideal addition to a collection dedicated to Kurumi Tokisaki, the various heroines of Date A Live or the Relax Time range.

Origin and character background (Lore)

Kurumi Tokisaki is one of the best-known Spirits in the Date A Live universe. She is known as the Third Spirit and stands out as much for her elegant appearance as for her particularly unsettling reputation.

Her power is linked to the Angel Zafkiel, a massive clock that allows her to manipulate time in various ways. In particular, Kurumi can speed up, slow down or alter certain temporal phenomena by using the different abilities associated with the numbers on her clock.

The character is also recognisable by her left eye, which takes the form of a golden clock face and becomes visible when she uses her powers. Behind her often provocative and unpredictable behaviour, however, lies a complex backstory and motivations that go far beyond her initial image as an antagonist.

Thanks to her gothic design, her temporal powers and her ambiguous personality, Kurumi Tokisaki has become one of the most popular characters in Date A Live. This ‘Relax Time’ version offers a more peaceful interpretation of the character, highlighting a different side to the Spirit usually associated with Zafkiel and supernatural battles.
