Character’s origin and backstory (Lore)

Abner belongs to the universe of The Conjuring, a horror franchise centred on paranormal investigations, possessions, spirits and demonic entities.

The Conjuring universe is primarily linked to the cases of Ed and Lorraine Warren, a couple of demonologists who have encountered numerous supernatural manifestations. The franchise has gradually expanded across several films and spin-off characters, giving rise to a shared universe particularly rich in unsettling figures.

Like many supporting characters in the saga, Abner helps to reinforce the oppressive and supernatural atmosphere unique to the franchise, in which every apparition, object or presence can play a part in the phenomena affecting the protagonists.

This POP! Movies No. 2150 thus allows you to add a more specific reference from *The Conjuring* universe to a collection dedicated to horror films and paranormal characters.
