Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Megan Price is one of the main characters in the 2011 filmBridesmaids, directed by Paul Feig. Masterfully played by actress Melissa McCarthy - a role that earned her a historic Oscar nomination - Megan is the future sister-in-law of the bride, Lillian. With her unshakeable self-confidence, surprising physical strength and legendary outspokenness, she stands out from the crowd of more conventional bridesmaids. Behind her boorish manner, surreal lines and improbable anecdotes, Megan proves to be an absolutely loyal friend, capable of shaking Annie up and restoring her self-confidence just when she's hitting rock bottom.
