Based on *Bocchi the Rock!*, this Banpresto figurine depicts Bocchi-chan, alias Hitori Gotoh, in Version B of the Sweets Collection. Standing approximately 10 cm tall, this figure captures one of the heroine’s humorous and deliberately quirky looks, set here within a small decorative scene inspired by the world of patisserie.
Bocchi is depicted wearing a green dinosaur costume, with her characteristic pink hair peeking out from under the hood. With her arms raised, her eyes closed and tears drawn on her cheeks, she strikes an exaggerated pose typical of the series’ comic sequences. The character is accompanied by a small house reminiscent of a biscuit-style building, with a brown roof decorated with white icing and an illustrated sign. The whole piece rests on a circular base in biscuit-coloured tones.
The piece measures approximately 12 cm wide by 10 cm high, making it a compact display piece. This Version B can also be paired with Version A from the Sweets Collection, as both models offer complementary and whimsical interpretations of Bocchi-chan.
Hitori Gotoh, nicknamed Bocchi, is the protagonist of Bocchi the Rock!. A first-year sixth-former who is extremely shy, she takes up the guitar because she dreams of joining a band and finding a way to express herself despite her difficulties in communicating with others. Although she has developed strong guitar skills, she initially finds it very difficult to show her full potential when playing in front of an audience.
Her life changes when she meets Nijika Ijichi and joins the Kessoku Band as lead guitarist, alongside Nijika, Ryo Yamada and Ikuyo Kita. The series intertwines her musical development with numerous comical situations stemming from her social anxiety. Bocchi’s emotions are regularly depicted through particularly exaggerated visual transformations, a humorous aspect echoed by this ‘Version B’ in a dinosaur costume.
