Origin and character’s universe
In the world of Blue Box (Ao no Hako), a work blending romance and sport created by Kouji Miura, Chinatsu Kano is a first-year student at Eimei High School. A star player on the school’s girls’ basketball team, she is renowned for her rigorous discipline and daily morning training sessions. Her path crosses that of the protagonist, Taiki Inomata, a member of the badminton club, who develops feelings for her. Following her parents’ departure abroad, Chinatsu moves in temporarily with Taiki’s family, creating a complex dynamic of cohabitation between their mutual sporting aspirations and their everyday lives.
This Banpresto figure recreates the character’s physical features and everyday attire. Chinatsu Kano is depicted sporting her characteristic mid-length light brown hair falling over her shoulders. She is dressed in a casual outfit consisting of a long-sleeved jumper and a flowing skirt, reflecting her appearance in scenes outside of basketball training. The 23 cm figurine strikes a stable and natural standing pose, reflecting the visual style of the Japanese manga and anime franchise.
