Character background and lore

Kayoko Onikata is a student at Gehenna Academy in the Blue Archive universe. She is a member of Problem Solver 68, the group led by Aru Rikuhachima, alongside Mutsuki Asagi and Haruka Igusa.

Kayoko stands out for her intimidating appearance and her particularly calm demeanour. Despite the impression she may give at first glance, she often proves to be far more level-headed and composed than the other members of Problem Solver 68, to the extent that she is regularly the one who keeps a cool head when the group’s plans descend into chaos.

Passionate about music and with a rather reserved nature, Kayoko generally prefers to avoid unnecessary conflict. When the situation demands it, however, she remains a reliable fighter and a particularly loyal ally to her comrades.

This contrast between her sombre appearance, her calm demeanour and her role as the pragmatic member of Problem Solver 68 makes Kayoko one of the most popular and recognisable characters in Blue Archive.
