See Kenpachi Zaraki at his most ferocious with this Funko POP! Animation No. 2577 – Kenpachi Zaraki (Bankai) figure. Inspired by *Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War*, this version showcases the Captain of the 11th Division as he finally unleashes his Bankai, revealing raw power and a far wilder appearance than in his usual state.
This version is a particularly interesting piece for Bleach collectors, as it represents a major milestone in Kenpachi’s evolution and perfectly complements a collection dedicated to the ultimate forms unveiled during the Thousand-Year Blood War.
Kenpachi Zaraki is the captain of the 11th Division of the Gotei 13 and bears the title ‘Kenpachi’, traditionally associated with the Shinigami considered to be the most powerful of his generation. The official Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War website describes him as a fighter who lives almost exclusively for the pleasure of facing powerful opponents.
His thirst for battle is such that he deliberately wears an eye patch capable of reducing his spiritual pressure, in order to prolong his battles against weaker opponents. This self-imposed limitation perfectly illustrates his character: for Kenpachi, victory often matters less than the intensity of the battle itself.
During the Thousand-Year Blood War, Kenpachi faces Retsu Unohana, who turns out to be the very first holder of the title of Kenpachi. Their duel in the Muken allows Zaraki to overcome the limits he had unconsciously imposed on himself since childhood and gradually regain the full extent of his power.
This development leads him to gain a deeper understanding of his Zanpakutō and, later, to unleash his Bankai. In this form, his appearance becomes far more feral and his physical strength reaches extreme levels, though at the cost of finding it much harder to control this power.
The POP! Kenpachi Zaraki (Bankai) #2577 accurately depicts this ultimate aspect of the 11th Division Captain and is therefore a particularly striking release for fans of the Thousand-Year Blood War.
