Meet Nacht Faust, vice-captain of the Black Bulls in Black Clover, with this POP! Animation No. 2619 figure from Funko. Standing approximately 11.9 cm tall, it depicts the mysterious Knight-Mage with several features directly reflecting his status as a demonic host and his mastery of Shadow Magic. Funko officially markets this item under reference number 2619 and product code 86503.
Nacht is depicted wearing his characteristic dark outfit, with his tousled black hair and the vertical markings visible on his face. Two imposing black horns extend from his silhouette, whilst a small black demon perches on his shoulder. This is Gimodelo, one of the four demons with whom Nacht has forged a contract. The design thus directly reflects the special relationship he shares with the creatures of the underworld.
The figure strikes an upright and relatively calm pose, true to the character’s cool and reserved temperament. The contrast between his blue-black outfit, his horns and Gimodelo’s small silhouette, however, gives this POP! a very different identity from the more classic figures of Asta and Yuno. It comes in a Funko display box, numbered 2619, suitable for display either in or out of the packaging.

Nacht Faust is the vice-captain of the Black Bulls, although most members of the company remain unaware of his existence for a long time. He spends a considerable period of time infiltrating the Kingdom of Spade as a spy, gathering information on the Dark Triad and its plans. His magical attribute is Shadow Magic, which he uses in particular to move around, immobilise his opponents and create various techniques from areas of darkness.
Like Asta, Nacht is also a demon host. He has subjugated four creatures from the underworld through the Demon Subjugation Ritual: Gimodelo, Slotos, Plumede and Walgner. Each allows him to harness different abilities when he combines his power with theirs. Gimodelo, the little demon associated with this figurine, is therefore much more than just a decorative companion. The anime’s official website confirms that Nacht commands four demons, including Gimodelo, after subjugating them through this forbidden ritual.
Nacht also plays a pivotal role in Asta’s development. Whilst the Mage Knights have very little time before the offensive against the Kingdom of Spade, he trains Asta so that he can better master the power of the demon within his grimoire. In particular, he subjects him to the Devil-Binding Ritual, during which Asta must face Liebe before he can forge a genuine contract with him.
Despite his cold, cynical and often harsh personality, Nacht acts above all to prevent demons from pouring into the human world. This POP! No. 2619 captures this aspect of the character particularly well: his dark outfit, his horns and the presence of Gimodelo on his shoulder directly highlight his role as the mysterious vice-captain and specialist in demonic powers within the Black Bulls.
