Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Created by Roy Thomas, Len Wein and John Romita Sr. in 1974 for Marvel Comics, Wolverine (Logan) is a mutant with an accelerated healing factor, hyper-developed senses and retractable claws. Covered in adamantium - an indestructible metal forcibly grafted onto his skeleton during the secret military project Weapon X - he joins the X-Men team led by Professor Charles Xavier to fight for peaceful coexistence between humans and mutants. The Bitty POP! Arcade format combines the classic comic book aesthetic of the 1980s and 1990s with the nostalgia of retro arcades from the same era, placing the hero in a visual context rooted in the pop culture of his golden age.
