BEYBLADE X - Xtreme Battle Set

Step straight into the world of Beyblade X battles with Hasbro’s Xtreme Battle Set, a complete set containing everything you need to organise battles as soon as you open the box. The set includes an Xtreme Beystadium arena, two right-spinning tops and two rack launchers.

The set contains the Dagger Dran 4-60R, an Attack-type Beyblade, and the Tusk Mammoth 3-60T, a Balance-type Beyblade. Designed by Takara Tomy and marketed by Hasbro, they feature die-cast metal parts and a three-piece interchangeable design: Blade, Ratchet and Bit. These components can be combined with those of other Beyblade X-compatible Beyblades to alter their behaviour and characteristics in battle.

The unique feature of the Beyblade X system lies in the accelerator rail built into the Beystadium. When the gear on the tip of a spinning top engages with this rail, it can trigger an Xtreme Dash – a sudden burst of acceleration designed to cause particularly powerful collisions. Battles are played by scoring points based on the outcome of the clashes; the first Blader to reach four points wins the game.

Origin and universe of Beyblade X (Lore)

Beyblade X represents a new generation of the Beyblade franchise, centred around faster spinning top battles and an arena system that enables the spectacular Xtreme Dash moves. In the world of the animated series, Bladers seek to progress through the world of professional competition and reach the pinnacle of The X, where the best competitors face off.

The story centres on Robin Kazami, a young amateur Blader who, following a crushing defeat, meets former champion Jaxon Cross. Jaxon competes under the alias Blader X and is determined to return to the top to face his former team-mate, Khrome Ryugu. Together with influencer and Multi Blader Nana-iro, they form Team Persona and set out to climb the ranks of professional competition.

The Dagger Dran Bey, included in this Xtreme Battle Set, is one of the Beys associated with Jaxon Cross / Blader X in the series. The set thus directly translates the fundamental principles of Beyblade X into physical play: customising the spinning tops, choosing between different battle profiles and striving for maximum speed using the Beystadium’s X-Celerator track.
