BANG DREAM - Mana Sumita "Pajama Party!" - Figure Yumemirize 16cm

This Yumemirize figurine from SEGA Goods depicts Mana Sumita, a member of the idol duo sumimi in the BanG Dream! universe. This ‘Pajama Party!’ edition depicts the character in a casual night-time outfit, a far cry from her usual stage costume. Made from PVC, the figurine measures approximately 16 cm and strikes a seated pose specially designed for this collection.

Mana is depicted wearing blue-grey long-sleeved pyjamas, trimmed with white at the collar, cuffs and hem. Two white pom-poms adorn the front of the outfit. Blue and white striped knee-high socks complete the look, whilst a cat-ear headband adds a playful touch to the design. Her pose—one hand resting on the floor and the other raised near her face—emphasises the relaxed atmosphere sought for this version.

The sculpture retains the character’s key features, notably her long brown hair and gentle expression, whilst offering a more intimate portrayal than her appearances as an idol. The promotional display, featuring balls of wool and moon and star motifs, reinforces the nocturnal theme of the ‘Pajama Party!’ collection. This variant can be displayed on its own or alongside the other Yumemirize BanG Dream! figurines available in the same theme.

Character background and lore

Mana Sumita is a character from the BanG Dream! universe, appearing notably in stories linked to BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! and BanG Dream! Ave Mujica. Together with Uika Misumi, she forms the idol unit sumimi. The official website describes her as a young girl with a spontaneous and cheerful personality, loved by the public for her energetic smile. She is also known for her great love of doughnuts.

Unlike Uika, who also performs with Ave Mujica under the stage name Doloris, Mana remains primarily associated with sumimi. The duo thus occupies a special place in the franchise’s history by bridging the gap between the idol scene and the events surrounding the franchise’s various music groups.

The ‘Pajama Party!’ version released by SEGA deliberately departs from Mana’s public image as an idol. Her nightwear, seated pose and feline accessories give the character a more everyday and relaxed appearance, allowing this Yumemirize figurine to explore a different side to the one shown during her performances with sumimi.
