Discover Steve Rogers in this Funko POP! Marvel No. 1679 figurine, inspired by Avengers: Doomsday. Standing approximately 11.2 cm tall, this version marks the return of the former Captain America, depicting him armed with Mjolnir, Thor’s legendary hammer. Funko officially markets this item under the name ‘Steve Rogers with Mjolnir’.
Here, Steve takes on a very different look from his traditional Captain America costume. He wears dark civilian clothing, consisting notably of a black top and brown trousers, as well as a beard and short hair. The character is depicted in a dynamic pose, his body leaning forward, whilst he brandishes Mjolnir surrounded by translucent blue lightning effects. A transparent stand helps to maintain this dynamic posture.
This scene immediately echoes one of Steve Rogers’ most iconic moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: his ability to wield Mjolnir. However, the combination of everyday clothing with the hammer’s power gives this Avengers: Doomsday version a visual identity distinct from his previous incarnations as Captain America.

Steve Rogers was originally a frail young man, yet determined to contribute to the war effort during the Second World War. Selected to receive the Super-Soldier Serum, he gained significantly enhanced physical abilities and became Captain America. After fighting in the war, he vanished into the ice and remained in suspended animation for several decades before being rediscovered in the modern era and joining the Avengers.
His courage and integrity are also demonstrated by his ability to wield Mjolnir. In the comics, Steve has already shown himself to be worthy of Thor’s hammer, whilst the Marvel Cinematic Universe revisits this element spectacularly in *Avengers: Endgame*, where Captain America uses Mjolnir in battle. Marvel officially refers to this scene as ‘Captain America (Steve Rogers) Wields Mjolnir’.
