Origin and lore of the franchise

Avengers: Doomsday brings together heroes from several branches of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Disney officially presents the film as a gathering of heroes from three distinct universes, set on a collision course as they face an unprecedented existential threat. The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and is scheduled for release in cinemas on 18 December 2026.
