Celebrate this iconic landmark in the history of Japanese manga and animation with the mechanical Astro Boy construction set from Pantasy (EAN code: 6973817320682). Created under official licence to pay tribute to Osamu Tezuka’s masterpiece, this scale model offers a breathtaking artistic and technical reinterpretation of the big-hearted android.
The building experience is distinguished by its asymmetrical, semi-exposed (‘Half-Mecha’) structure of rare complexity. The right-hand half of the figure recreates Astro Boy’s smooth, cute and familiar features, complete with his iconic green shorts and red boots. The left half, meanwhile, is a fascinating display of robotic engineering, revealing its electronic circuits, pistons, cogs and red energy core made from bricks. The precision bricks feature a silver metallic plating finish of remarkable quality. Firmly anchored on its backlit maintenance base, this massive diorama stands out as an essential collector’s item and decorative piece.
