Origin and background of the character
Created by the famous Japanese firm Sanrio, Aggretsuko (Retsuko) is a 25-year-old red panda, single and a Scorpio. An accountant by profession at a commercial firm in Tokyo, she endures the daily frustration of a thankless office job, the remarks of tyrannical superiors and the demands of annoying colleagues. To release this pent-up stress and express her repressed emotions, she has a secret life: every evening she goes alone to a karaoke bar to sing death metal at the top of her lungs. This Pop! figurine perfectly captures this hilarious and endearing contrast, depicting the little mascot with her headphones on, ready to shut herself off to listen to her heaviest tracks. It is a must-have for all anime enthusiasts and collectors of the Sanrio universe.
