Funko completes its collection dedicated to *A Christmas Story* with this POP! Movies figurine No. 2145, depicting Scut Farkus, the dreaded neighbourhood bully who regularly torments Ralphie Parker and his friends. Standing approximately 10.9 cm tall, this vinyl figure brings the character to life in the signature style of the POP! range, with an oversized head and deliberately simplified proportions.
Scut Farkus is depicted in his signature winter outfit, with his red hair and famous fur hat. His mischievous expression and posture are a direct nod to his role as the antagonist in the film, when he lies in wait for Ralphie and his friends on their way to school to intimidate them with the help of his accomplice, Grover Dill.
The figurine retains the key features that make the character instantly recognisable, whilst adopting the proportions typical of Funko POP! figurines. Its standard size means it can be displayed alongside the other characters from this ‘A Christmas Story’ range, notably Ralphie in his rabbit costume, Ralphie with the bar of soap in his mouth, and Randy Parker.
Presented in an illustrated window box, the figurine can be displayed straight away or kept in its packaging. It depicts one of the film’s most memorable supporting characters and is a particularly fine addition to a collection dedicated to the iconic scenes from *A Christmas Story*.

Character background and universe (Lore)
A Christmas Story is a Christmas comedy released in 1983 that recounts Ralphie Parker’s childhood memories in 1940s America. Whilst Ralphie focuses all his attention on his dream of receiving a Red Ryder air rifle for Christmas, his daily life is punctuated by school, his family and various misadventures with his classmates.
Scut Farkus, played by Zack Ward, is the neighbourhood’s main bully. Together with his sidekick Grover Dill, he regularly lies in wait for Ralphie, Flick and Schwartz on their way home and takes pleasure in intimidating them. The adult Ralphie’s account deliberately emphasises his menacing appearance, going so far as to highlight his supposed ‘yellow eyes’, which have become one of the most memorable details associated with the character.
The situation eventually backfires on Scut, however. After a build-up of frustration, Ralphie loses his temper and lunges at him during a brawl, putting an end – at least for the time being – to the young bully’s dominance over the group. This scene is one of the moments when Ralphie stops passively enduring the events around him.
Scut Farkus has thus become one of the most recognisable figures in *A Christmas Story* despite his supporting role. His red hair, his fur hat, his unsettling laugh and the way Ralphie describes him have all played a major part in making him one of the iconic antagonists of Christmas cinema.
