Based on the Marvel Comics / X-Men universe, this Iron Studios figurine depicts Gambit, alias Remy LeBeau, in a spectacular pose showcasing his powers of kinetic energy manipulation. Part of the Unleashed Art Scale 1/10 range, it features a particularly dynamic composition, with the Cajun mutant at the centre of a burst of pink and purple energy. The BEM’S product listing states a height of 28 cm.

Gambit is depicted here in his classic comic-book appearance, complete with his long brown coat, distinctive armour and combat gear. His pose highlights the use of his mutant power, which allows him to charge objects with kinetic energy before hurling them. Character background and lore

Remy Étienne LeBeau, better known as Gambit, is a mutant originally from New Orleans. Abandoned as an infant, largely due to his unusual red eyes, he was taken in and raised within the Thieves’ Guild, where he became a particularly talented thief. This upbringing allowed him to develop his skills in stealth, acrobatics and combat, to which his mutant powers are added.

Gambit possesses the ability to charge matter with kinetic energy, causing an explosive release when it comes into contact with a target. His most iconic weapons are therefore simple playing cards, which are easy to carry and to throw once charged. He is also a master of the bō, a long staff which he uses for both attack and defence.

His encounter with Storm, who had temporarily been reduced to the appearance of a child, marked an important step in his integration into the X-Men. Despite his past as a thief and his complex ties to Mister Sinister and the Marauders, Remy eventually becomes a permanent member of Charles Xavier’s team and one of its most recognisable members. His journey remains marked by a constant quest for redemption and by the difficulty of reconciling his former life with his role as a hero.

Gambit also shares a particularly significant relationship with Rogue, who over the years has become a central figure in his story. Their relationship is long complicated by Rogue’s powers, which make any physical contact dangerous, but the two mutants eventually go on to form one of the most iconic couples in the X-Men universe.
