Rediscover the heart-warming world of Winnie the Pooh with this large Hunny container from Pyramid International, available in an XL size with a capacity of approximately 880 ml / 30 oz. Featuring a lid and a large top handle, it combines a generous size with an illustration inspired by the classic Winnie the Pooh drawings.
The design brings together several iconic inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood. Pooh is shown hanging from his red balloon near a tree, whilst Piglet watches him from a branch. Eeyore and Tigger are depicted at the foot of the tree. The design features a watercolour and line-art style, with soft colours reminiscent of the traditional illustrations associated with the Winnie the Pooh universe.
Winnie-the-Pooh is a gentle, dreamy bear who lives in the Hundred Acre Wood alongside his friends Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit and Christopher Robin. His insatiable love of honey – often written as ‘Hunny’ in the character’s visual universe – is one of his most instantly recognisable traits.
Winnie’s adventures have their origins in the stories by A. A. Milne, originally illustrated by E. H. Shepard, before Disney developed its own adaptation of this universe. The stories generally revolve around simple, everyday events, transformed by the imagination and friendship of the forest’s inhabitants.
The red balloon depicted on this product is also closely associated with Winnie. In several stories, the bear uses or chases balloons during his adventures, particularly when he is looking for ingenious ways to reach some honey. The illustration featuring Winnie, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger thus directly evokes the peaceful atmosphere and little adventures that characterise the franchise.
