Origin and character’s universe
Released in 2008 by Pixar Animation Studios, the science-fiction masterpiece Wall-E transports us to the year 2805 on a desolate, toxic Earth submerged in the waste of overconsumption. Humanity has fled aboard the luxurious spaceship Axiom, entrusting the clean-up of the planet to an army of small compactor robots. Centuries later, only one small specimen named WALL-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter: Earth-Class) is still operational. Having developed a unique consciousness over time, he collects unusual objects and suffers from immense loneliness. His life is turned upside down by the arrival of EVE, a high-tech evaluation probe with whom he falls madly in love and whom he will pursue across the galaxy in a poetic adventure that will determine the fate of the entire human race.
