Origin and character universe
Voltron is the legendary giant robot, protector of the universe, formed by the assembly of five separate robotic lions piloted by brave Paladins. In the acclaimed modern series Voltron: Legendary Defender, Takashi ‘Shiro’ Shirogane is the team’s respected leader and pilot of the Black Lion, which forms the torso and head of the supreme robot. A former prisoner of the Galra Empire, Shiro’s courage, maturity and bionic prosthetic make him the central pillar of the galaxy’s defenders. Funko’s “Bitty Bots” range pays a playful and memorable tribute to this major work of modern science fiction by bringing together this mechanical titan and his team leader in a unique and irresistible miniature format. It is an essential collector’s item for all fans of mecha anime and intergalactic pop culture.
