This Hasbro Transformers Generations War for Cybertron: Siege figure depicts Jetfire in an imposing Commander Class version. It stands approximately 28 cm tall in robot mode and can be fully transformed into a Cybertronian jet. The transition between the two modes involves 36 steps, offering an elaborate transformation process suited to the figure’s large scale.
The design draws direct inspiration from Jetfire’s Generation 1 appearance whilst incorporating the technological aesthetic of War for Cybertron: Siege. His body is predominantly white, complemented by red, black and grey elements. In robot mode, his large size, outstretched wings and dorsal thrusters give him a particularly imposing silhouette when compared to the Deluxe or Voyager figures from the same collection. In alternate mode, the assembly forms a large Cybertronian jet designed for combat and air transport.
Jetfire features the C.O.M.B.A.T. modular weapon system used in the Siege range. The numerous connection points distributed across the figure allow weapons and armour elements to be fitted in various configurations, in both robot and jet modes. In particular, the accessories can be combined to transform Jetfire into the ‘C.O.M.B.A.T. Ready’ configuration, complete with a combat visor, armour and enhanced weaponry.
The set includes 12 weapon and armour accessories, as well as 6 translucent muzzle flashes. Two JF-25 HS photon missile launchers, two HS photon missiles, two JF-15 HP Jetboost particle cannons, two SF-M2 Radiograph reactors, a Skyshield aerial armour and a Skyshield combat visor allow for a wide range of customisations. The six combat effects can be attached to the tips of the weapons to simulate firing.
Jet mode also features a special function allowing compatible Deluxe Class figures, sold separately, to attach themselves beneath the craft by their arms to simulate their deployment on the battlefield. This feature, combined with Jetfire’s large size and extensive arsenal, makes him one of the centrepieces of the War for Cybertron: Siege collection.

Character background and universe (Lore)
Jetfire is a Transformer primarily associated with the Autobots and is traditionally distinguished by his status as a scientist and a powerful aerial combatant. In the official War for Cybertron: Siege description accompanying this figure, Hasbro describes him as an Autobot scientist, army captain and guardian of the skies. His large size and ability to transform into a jet enable him to carry out both combat missions and provide air support.
War for Cybertron: Siege is set during the final hours of the civil war ravaging Cybertron. The Autobots and Decepticons are locked in battle for control of their planet and the AllSpark, whilst Cybertron is already deeply scarred by years of conflict. The Siege range brings this era to life in the form of Cybertronian vehicles and a modular weapon system, allowing the combatants to adapt their equipment to the demands of the battlefield.
In the animated adaptation *Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy: Siege*, Jetfire’s story is also closely linked to both factions. Initially aligned with the Decepticons and the Seekers, he eventually begins to question Megatron’s methods and draws closer to the Autobots. This trajectory echoes various historical incarnations of the character, who is often portrayed as a Transformer whose personal convictions and interest in science gradually take precedence over blind loyalty to a faction.
The large Commander Class format suits Jetfire particularly well, as his size has always been one of his defining features. The transformation into a Cybertronian jet, the C.O.M.B.A.T. system, the extensive arsenal and the ability to carry smaller figures all allow this WFC-S28 to capture both his role as an aerial combatant and his status as a major figure within the Autobot forces.
