TRANSFORMERS - Optimus Prime - Key Chain

This official The Noble Collection keyring depicts Optimus Prime, the famous leader of the Autobots in the Transformers universe. Inspired by his iconic Generation 1 design, the mini-figure features his signature red, silver and blue colour scheme, as well as the character’s key mechanical features.

The figure measures approximately 6.3 cm and features articulated arms and legs, allowing you to adjust its pose slightly. This keyring is therefore more akin to a genuine small collectable figure than a simple decorative pendant.

A metal ring and carabiner complete the set, allowing it to be attached to a set of keys, a rucksack or a satchel. The total length is approximately 12.7 cm, including the fastening. Its construction from zinc alloy and iron gives it a metallic finish that is particularly well-suited to the mechanical aesthetic of the Transformers.

Character background and lore

Optimus Prime is one of the central characters in Transformers and the iconic leader of the Autobots. Originally from Cybertron, he leads this faction of robots in their battle against Megatron and the Decepticons.

Renowned for his sense of honour, his courage and his commitment to freedom, Optimus generally prioritises the protection of the innocent over conquest. He thus represents the ideological opposite of Megatron, whose objective is more focused on domination and power.

In the classic Generation 1 continuity, Optimus Prime has an instantly recognisable appearance combining red, blue and silver. His alternate mode traditionally takes the form of a lorry, whilst his transformation into a robot reveals windows on his chest corresponding to the vehicle’s cab.

His rivalry with Megatron is one of the central themes of the Transformers franchise. The two leaders represent opposing visions for the future of Cybertron, and their clash draws the Autobots and Decepticons into a conflict that regularly spills over onto Earth.

This keyring faithfully recreates Optimus Prime’s Generation 1 design, one of the character’s most iconic and instantly recognisable versions.
