This Hasbro Transformers Studio Series Voyager Class figure depicts the Autobot Ironhide as he appeared in the 2007 film *Transformers*. Standing approximately 16.5 cm tall in robot mode, this new version is part of the celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of the first film and combines extensive articulation with a full transformation into a GMC TopKick pick-up. The transformation from robot mode to vehicle mode involves 27 steps.
Robot mode captures Ironhide’s particularly imposing appearance, with his black bodywork covering his entire frame, his massive shoulders and the numerous visible mechanical elements around his torso and legs. The silver and metallic details contrast with the large black surfaces and are a direct nod to the complex design of the Autobots in the live-action films.
In alternate mode, Ironhide becomes the black GMC TopKick featured in the film. Hasbro has official authorisation from General Motors to reproduce the vehicle and its bodywork components. This transformation recreates one of the most recognisable ground modes of the first Autobot team to arrive on Earth.
The figure comes with two weapon accessories inspired by the heavy equipment used by Ironhide. They can be attached in both robot and vehicle modes. Multiple points of articulation in the head, arms and legs also allow you to recreate various combat poses or display the figure alongside other Studio Series characters from the 2007 film.

Character background and universe (Lore)
Ironhide is one of the most experienced Autobots in Optimus Prime’s team within the Transformers film canon. Hasbro presents him as the group’s weapons specialist, a role perfectly suited to his combative nature and his particularly heavy armament. He generally favours direct action and is one of the Autobots’ leading front-line fighters.
In the 2007 film *Transformers*, Ironhide arrives on Earth alongside Optimus Prime, Jazz and Ratchet in response to Bumblebee’s call. To blend in amongst human vehicles, he takes the form of a black GMC TopKick. His imposing build and arm-mounted weapons are perfectly suited to his role as a combat and weapons specialist.
Ironhide then helps to protect Sam Witwicky and takes part in the battle against the Decepticons for control of the AllSpark. During the Battle of Mission City, he fights alongside Ratchet, Jazz, Bumblebee and human forces against Megatron’s troops. His experience and firepower make him one of the Autobots most directly involved in the battles of the first film.
This Studio Series version is a faithful recreation of that original incarnation of Ironhide. His transformation into a GMC TopKick, his black bodywork and his two weapons capture the key features that characterised the character in the 2007 Transformers film, whilst his release in 2027 marks the film’s 20th anniversary.
