Origin and background of the character
Manjiro Sano, universally feared under the alias ‘Mikey the Invincible’, is the founding president of Tokyo Manji (Toman), the biker gang at the heart of the dramatic time-travel epic Tokyo Revengers created by manga artist Ken Wakui. Despite his modest stature and carefree nature, Mikey harbours devastating striking power, fuelled by kicks of superhuman speed and strength, capable of knocking out any rival with a single blow. A charismatic leader adored by his crew, he carries heavy responsibilities and ‘dark impulses’ that only those closest to him can channel to preserve the gang’s honour and unity.
This 16 cm figurine perfectly captures the young man’s natural presence and nonchalant demeanour. The sculpt meticulously highlights his signature mid-length blonde hair, partially tied back, his official black Toman uniform with its gold embroidered lettering, as well as his jacket, traditionally draped over his shoulders, which floats lightly. The expression on his face, blending nonchalance with cold determination, perfectly reflects his status as the ultimate fighter on the streets of Tokyo. This is an absolute must-have for any collector wishing to commemorate the alliance of the gang’s founders and add a unique intensity to their display.
