This Banpresto figurine depicts Haruna Sairenji, one of the main heroines of To LOVE-Ru Darkness, as part of the Nyarls Collection. Standing approximately 25 cm tall, this figure features a feline theme that transforms the character’s usual appearance with cat ears and a long tail.
Haruna retains her short, dark blue hair, adorned with her two distinctive red hair clips, as well as her large, pink-tinged eyes. Two dark blue and white cat ears extend from her hairstyle. Her white outfit is designed around the same animal-inspired motif, with several elements evoking light fur, particularly at the wrists and legs.
The pose also emphasises this theme: Haruna stands on one slightly bent leg whilst one hand is raised in front of her like a cat’s paw. A long white tail wraps round her leg before curling down towards the back. Light-coloured sandals and white accents around her ankles complete this composition, which features deliberately soft colours.

Character background and lore
Haruna Sairenji is a classmate of Rito Yûki and one of the central heroines of To LOVE-Ru. Serious, gentle and reserved, she is portrayed as an excellent student with a kind-hearted nature. Shueisha’s official description states that Rito has had feelings for her since secondary school and that Haruna also secretly shares this attraction.
However, the arrival of Lala Satalin Deviluke turns this relationship on its head. Whilst Lala openly declares her love for Rito, Haruna remains much more discreet about her own feelings. She eventually reveals them to Lala, however, placing the two girls in a situation of romantic rivalry whilst still allowing a genuine friendship to develop between them.
Haruna also stands out for her calm demeanour and her sense of responsibility. Official descriptions portray her as a model pupil: pure and reserved, generally kind to others, although the chaotic situations she faces can sometimes cause her to panic. She thus represents one of the main contrasts to Lala’s much more spontaneous and unpredictable nature.
This Nyarls Collection figurine offers a thematic interpretation of the character rather than an outfit taken directly from her everyday life in the series. The ears, tail and cat-inspired gestures give Haruna an appearance that is immediately recognisable as belonging to this particular line of the Banpresto collection.
