THE SIMPSONS - POP Deluxe N° 1949 - Zombie Snowball

Discover Snowball in zombie form with this Funko POP! Deluxe figurine (No. 1949), inspired by The Simpsons. This version transforms the Simpsons’ famous cat into a macabre and offbeat creature, perfectly in keeping with the spirit of the series’ special episodes and its dark humour.

The POP! Deluxe format offers a more elaborate design than a classic POP! figurine, with a presentation designed to enhance the character’s visual appeal. The zombie version of Snowball is therefore an original variation for collectors seeking unusual takes on the residents of Springfield.

Presented in a larger, illustrated window box, this figurine can be displayed directly in its packaging or taken out to join a collection dedicated to The Simpsons, Halloween editions or characters reimagined in a horror style.

Origin and character lore

Snowball is the name given to several cats belonging to the Simpson family throughout the series. These pets are mainly associated with Lisa Simpson, who is particularly fond of them.

The first Snowball is mentioned right from the start of the series, whilst various successors subsequently take on this name. This succession of cats becomes a recurring running gag in its own right, as the family continues to use the name Snowball despite the change in pets.

The zombie version fits in with the macabre aesthetic frequently used by *The Simpsons*, particularly in the *Treehouse of Horror* special episodes, where Springfield and its inhabitants are regularly confronted by zombies, monsters, aliens and other supernatural phenomena.

This POP! Deluxe No. 1949 thus reimagines a familiar pet from the Simpson family as a horrific and humorous variation, perfectly suited to a collection dedicated to the most unusual versions from the world of The Simpsons.
