Discover Maomao in an elegant and serene setting with this figurine from the Glasscape range, produced by Banpresto and inspired by *Les Carnets de l’Apothicaire*.
The figurine depicts Maomao seated in front of a translucent backdrop reminiscent of a stained-glass window adorned with floral motifs. Her dark green hair is styled in her usual manner, whilst her traditional outfit combines understated and refined colours. Her calm and attentive expression reflects her observant nature and her ability to analyse even the most complex situations.
Made from PVC, this figurine measures approximately 14 cm. Its size and presentation make it easy to incorporate into a collection dedicated to animated series, historical settings or fictional characters linked to medicine and detective stories.
In *The Apothecary’s Notebooks*, Maomao is a young apothecary raised in the pleasure quarter. After being kidnapped and then sold as a servant at the imperial palace, she initially tries to keep a low profile, but her knowledge of medicine, poisons and plants quickly attracts attention.
Curious, rational and unconcerned with appearances, she investigates the illnesses, poisonings and intrigues surrounding the inner court. Her intelligence and keen interest in toxic substances regularly lead her to solve mysteries that others would rather ignore.
This Glasscape figurine highlights a more contemplative side to Maomao, whilst retaining the elegance and refined atmosphere characteristic of the series.
