Description
Meet Guile with this 15 cm articulated figurine produced by Hasbro and inspired by the 2026 film *Street Fighter*. Crafted on a 1/12 scale, it captures the cinematic appearance of the famous American soldier in a figure designed for display and combat poses. In the film directed by Kitao Sakurai, Guile is played by Cody Rhodes.

The character immediately retains the iconic elements of his design: his spectacular blonde flat-top haircut, a military vest, tactical camouflage trousers, boots and his dog tags. This look draws directly on the costume designed for the new live-action adaptation whilst remaining very faithful to the visual identity established by the Street Fighter games.

The figure features articulated arms, wrists, legs and torso to allow for various fighting poses. The accessories enable Guile to be posed in ways that evoke his famous Sonic Boom. A pair of interchangeable hands allows the clenched fists to be replaced with open hands, whilst a communication device and a comb complete his kit. The comb is a direct nod to the character’s iconic flat-top hairstyle.

Character background and lore

Guile is one of Street Fighter’s long-standing fighters and made his debut in Street Fighter II: The World Warrior. An American soldier and US Air Force pilot, he is distinguished by a fighting style that combines martial arts techniques, wrestling moves and military training. Capcom describes him as a seemingly calm and methodical man, but one driven by a much more passionate temperament than he lets on.

Much of his backstory is linked to his friend and comrade Charlie Nash. In early versions of his story, Guile and Charlie are captured during a mission in Thailand. Both manage to escape, but Charlie dies before they return, leaving Guile consumed by a desire for revenge. Later instalments directly link this rivalry to Mr Bison and the Shadaloo organisation.

In terms of combat, Guile is particularly famous for two techniques. The Sonic Boom is an energy projectile created by a rapid movement of his arms, whilst the Flash Kick – also known as the Somersault Kick in some versions – is an upward attack executed whilst performing a backflip. These two moves have become synonymous with the character since Street Fighter II.

The 2026 film *Street Fighter* features a new incarnation of Guile, played by Cody Rhodes. The story is set in 1993 and centres on the World Warrior Tournament, in which many of the franchise’s iconic characters take part. The feature film is produced by Legendary Pictures in collaboration with Capcom and distributed by Paramount Pictures.
