Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Created by brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, the Stranger Things series explores the supernatural phenomena and state secrets that plague the small town of Hawkins. Brought up in a secret laboratory because of her extraordinary psychokinetic and telepathic abilities, Eleven manages to escape and finds refuge with a group of loyal friends. Tales from '85" focuses on the summer of 1985 (season 3). This was a period of major transformation and emancipation for the heroine: officially adopted by Jim Hopper, she began her first romance with Mike Wheeler and discovered the codes of ordinary teenage life thanks to her new partnership with Max Mayfield, before the World Upside Down threatened the town once again.
