Rediscover one of science fiction’s most famous spaceships with this floating figurine of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, designed by Beast Kingdom. Part of the Egg Attack Floating range, this collector’s item measures approximately 8.5 cm and combines a miniature replica of the starship, lighting effects and magnetic levitation technology to give the impression that the Enterprise is actually floating above its base.
The model features the Enterprise’s instantly recognisable elements: the large main saucer bearing the registration number NCC-1701, the secondary hull, the forward deflector and the two warp nacelles. Promotional images also show various points of light on the saucer, the hull and the nacelles, reinforcing the impression of a ship in operation.
The ship is displayed above a compact black base with no visible transparent support. This presentation is in keeping with the concept of Beast Kingdom’s Egg Attack Floating collection, which uses a magnetic levitation system to suspend the model in mid-air. Other items in this range also combine this technology with LED lighting and a power supply for the base, creating a display effect particularly well-suited to vehicles and spacecraft.
Measuring approximately 8.5 cm in height and featuring a base approximately 3 cm high, as seen in the official images, this Enterprise favours a compact format whilst offering an unusual technological presentation. It is particularly well-suited to a Star Trek display cabinet, a desk or a collection dedicated to the Federation’s iconic starships.

Origin and background of the starship (Lore)
The U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 is a Starfleet vessel of the Constitution class. Its primary mission is to explore space, discover new life forms and new civilisations, and expand the knowledge of the United Federation of Planets. The official Star Trek website lists Robert April, Christopher Pike and James T. Kirk as its commanders.
It was particularly under the command of James T. Kirk that the Enterprise became inextricably linked with Star Trek. Alongside Spock, Leonard McCoy, Montgomery Scott, Uhura, Sulu, Chekov and the rest of its crew, the ship took part in numerous exploration missions, made first contact and faced various threats from the Klingons, Romulans and other alien species. StarTrek.com describes the NCC-1701 as a Constitution-class heavy cruiser capable of accommodating more than 400 crew members.
During its service, the Enterprise underwent several major modifications and refits. It nevertheless remained in service until 2285, when Kirk activated its self-destruct system to prevent the Klingons from seizing the vessel during the events of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock.
The original design of the Enterprise, created by Matt Jefferies for the 1960s television series, has become one of the most recognisable silhouettes in all of science fiction. Its saucer, secondary hull and two warp nacelles laid the visual foundations for many generations of Starfleet vessels and all the subsequent Enterprises.
