Discover Nogi Ao from Snowball Earth with this figurine from the OSHI WORKS range, produced by Kotobukiya. Standing approximately 22 cm tall, this non-articulated figure brings the character from the anime adaptation to life in a generous scale, whilst retaining the accessible, collector-friendly design developed for the OSHI WORKS range.
Ao is depicted standing, looking straight ahead, in a pose that expresses her determination to continue on her journey alongside her companions despite the frozen world around them. Her long hair, her outfit suited to extreme temperatures and the various details of her costume have been sculpted and coloured to maintain a presence close to that of a scale figure, although this model is officially classified as non-scale.
The figurine comes with the standardised square base from the OSHI WORKS collection. A magnetic system holds the figurine in place on the printed metal plate of the base and allows its position to be adjusted freely. This design also makes it easy to display several characters from the range on a single base, particularly alongside Tetsuo Yabusame, also available from OSHI WORKS.

Nogi Ao is one of the main characters in *Snowball Earth*, a science fiction manga by Yuhiro Tsujitsugu, which was adapted into an animated series in 2026. The story follows Tetsuo Yabusame, a fighter specialising in battling alien monsters, who returns to Earth after several years of hibernation to find a planet entirely covered in ice and snow.
Ao lives in the community established at Mishima Mall. The anime’s official website describes her as a particularly curious young woman and a kaiju tamer. She protects the colony by controlling a heat-generating creature called ‘Human Land’ / ‘Terre des Hommes’, which is essential in this environment where survivors must cope with a climate that has become extremely hostile. She also holds the position of accounts manager at the shopping centre, although her curiosity regularly leads her to momentarily neglect her work.
It is Ao who welcomes Tetsuo Yabusame upon his return to a frozen Earth and introduces him to the Mishima Mall community, as well as explaining the state of the world following the disaster. She also explains what happened whilst he was away and reveals the existence of monster tamers to him.
This OSHI WORKS figurine specifically highlights this determined aspect of the character: Kotobukiya states that it sought to portray her determination to keep moving forward with her companions and to look to the future despite the extreme conditions of the Snowball Earth world.
