Origin and character’s universe
Directly inspired by the cult sketch ‘Close Encounter’ (Close Encounters of the Third Kind) from the American pop culture comedy and satire show Saturday Night Live, this figurine features Ms Colleen Rafferty. Masterfully and hilariously portrayed by actress Kate McKinnon, this jaded and eccentric woman recounts her experiences of alien abductions in a radically different, raw and disastrous manner compared to her fellow sufferers when faced with government agents. The contrast between her outlandish anecdotes and her nonchalant attitude has made her a recurring and immensely popular character in the history of modern television comedy.
This Funko Pop! figure faithfully captures her signature tousled hairstyle, her casual attire and her cigarette-in-hand pose during her iconic interrogation. An absolutely exceptional choice to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the TV show and enhance your display cabinet.
