Origin and world of the character (Lore)
In the world of the Sakamoto Days manga created by Yuto Suzuki, Takamura is a character attached to the elite order of the JAA (Japan Assassins Association). Despite his appearance as a stooped old man, silent and mumbling indistinct words, he is presented as one of the most fearsome assassins in the franchise. Lacking any magical superhuman abilities, his strength lies entirely in his absolute mastery of the sword and his speed of execution, capable of slicing through concrete or metal structures with a single swing of his katana. His detachment and silence make him a mysterious and feared figure within the organisation of professional killers.
