Discover Cygnus Hyoga in his Final Bronze Cloth with this articulated Saint Cloth Myth EX figure developed by Bandai Spirits / Tamashii Nations. This new variant is officially an Original Colour Edition (OCE), featuring a special metallic finish applied to the character’s Ultimate Bronze Armour. 

The Cygnus armour features a plating finish unique to the Original Colour Edition, highlighting its various metallic parts and their shiny appearance. Hyoga retains his long blonde hair and light-coloured leathers beneath the armour, whilst the Swan’s characteristic elements — winged helmet, shoulder guards, arm and leg guards — replicate the design of his Final Bronze Cloth.

This edition also adds a particularly significant new feature: a newly sculpted Aurora Execution effect, complete with its own support system. This allows Hyoga to be displayed using one of his most iconic techniques. The armour can also be removed from the figure and mounted on the supplied Object frame to recreate the shape of the Swan, in keeping with the concept of the Saint Cloth Myth EX range.

Character background and lore

Hyoga of the Swan is one of Athena’s five main Bronze Saints in Saint Seiya. Wearing the Swan Armour, he wields a Cosmos linked to cold and ice, capable of lowering the temperature of his surroundings and freezing his opponents. Among his most famous techniques are Diamond Dust and, above all, the Aurora Execution, an attack he eventually masters as he develops as a Knight.

The Final Bronze Cloth is one of the most advanced forms of his Bronze Armour. During the Hades saga, the heroes’ Bronze Armour is restored thanks to Athena’s blood, enabling them to reach a new level of power. Tamashii Nations presents this very version of Hyoga wearing his ultimate Bronze Cloth, resurrected by the goddess’s blood.

This evolution takes on its full significance during the journey to Elysion, where the Knights must face adversaries far more formidable than any they have encountered before. Tamashii’s previous Final Bronze Cloth edition already allowed collectors to recreate the scene where the Swan’s wings appear during this journey; this new Original Colour Edition retains this incarnation whilst adding a special finish and a brand-new Aurora Execution effect.
