Character background and universe (Lore)

Homura Akemi is one of the main protagonists of Puella Magi Madoka Magica. When she first appears, she comes across as a mysterious, aloof and exceptionally capable student, who seems to already be aware of the dangers the other characters will face.

Her power is linked to the manipulation of time, an ability that plays a central role throughout the plot. Homura uses this power to relive certain events and attempt to alter their outcome, with a goal deeply connected to Madoka Kaname.

Behind her cold exterior lies a determination forged through numerous trials. Her journey gradually reveals the extent of her sacrifices and the reason why she seeks to prevent Madoka from entering into a contract with Kyubey.

The relationship between Homura and Madoka is one of the series’ central themes and lends the character a particular depth. This 21 cm figurine thus pays tribute to one of the most memorable and tragic figures in Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
