Origin and licence lore
In the world of the Pokémon video games and animated series, the term ‘Starter’ refers to the starting Pokémon given by the local Professor to every young Trainer embarking on their journey. Traditionally categorised into three fundamental elemental types (Grass, Fire and Water), these companions from day one forge a unique and unbreakable bond of loyalty with their human partner. From the first generation, embodied by the legendary Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, right through to the most recent generations, choosing a Starter is a crucial and memorable moment for millions of players around the world. This gym bag celebrates this spirit of adventure, camaraderie and competition, reminding us that, just as a Trainer packs their bag, every workout or outing is the starting point for a new challenge to be tackled.
