Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Introduced in the ninth generation of video games with the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet (2022) versions set in the Paldea region, Malvalame is a Fire and Spectre-type Pokémon. It is the alternative evolution of Charbambit when exposed to Malicious Armour, directly opposing Carmadura. This warrior Pokémon is driven by a tenacious resentment rooted in its armour, a remnant of the regrets accumulated by a former knight. In battle, it manifests blades impregnated with psychic and spectral energy, capable of scorching wounds and consuming the life force of its opponents through devastating signature abilities like Bewitched Blade.
