Part of Funko’s POP! Basketball / NBA collection, this figurine depicts Cade Cunningham in his Detroit Pistons kit. Numbered 244, it depicts the point guard in the characteristic POP! figurine style, with an oversized head, simplified features and an outfit directly inspired by his NBA kit.
Cade Cunningham is depicted wearing the Detroit Pistons’ white jersey, with his number 2 in red on the chest. The matching shorts feature the franchise’s colours and logo, whilst white trainers and accessories complete the outfit. The figure strikes a dynamic pose, with both arms raised in front of his chest, and also recreates his curly hairstyle and beard.
Standing approximately 11.7 cm tall, this POP! figure is designed to form part of a collection dedicated to the Detroit Pistons, the NBA or the great figures of modern basketball. It is packaged in the traditional illustrated Funko window box, featuring the Pistons’ logo and the collection’s number 244.
Cade Cunningham, born on 25 September 2001, plays primarily as a point guard/shooting guard. After one season at university with Oklahoma State, during which he was named Big 12 Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year, he entered the 2021 NBA Draft.
He was selected as the first overall pick in the 2021 Draft by the Detroit Pistons, becoming the third number one draft pick in the franchise’s history. From his very first seasons, Cunningham has played a central role in Detroit’s offensive playmaking, combining scoring, playmaking and rebounding.
Throughout his time with the Pistons, he has established himself as one of the franchise’s key players, earning several selections for the NBA All-Star Game as well as All-NBA honours. His number 2 and the Detroit Pistons’ white kit, reproduced on this Funko figurine, are a direct nod to his sporting identity within the team.
