Origin and character background
Trafalgar D. Water Law (nicknamed the ‘Surgeon of Death’) is the captain of the Heart Pirates and one of the leading figures of the Worst Generation at the heart of the monumental One Piece series, created by Eiichiro Oda in 1997. A long-time ally of Monkey D. Luffy throughout the Dressrosa and Wano Kuni arcs, this peerless doctor is driven by a deep desire to uncover the truth behind the "D" will and to challenge the order established by the World Government. Having eaten the Ope Ope no Mi (Surgical Knife Fruit), a priceless Paramecia-type Devil Fruit, he possesses the absolute ability to generate a transparent sphere of space (Room) within which he can cut, rearrange and surgically manipulate any object or living being without causing death. The awakening of his ultimate power proved decisive during the Battle of Onigashima in defeating Empress Big Mom. Banpresto’s “WCF-Special” collection captures all the character’s charismatic aura in a compact format, paying meticulous attention to detail with his long cursed sword Kikoku, his iconic spotted fur hat and the distinctive tattoos etched onto his hands.
