Meet Rebecca, one of the key characters from the Dressrosa arc of One Piece, with this collectable figurine from the ‘Memory of Heroines – Royal Princess’ range. Produced by Bandai Spirits / Banpresto, it is part of the MASTERLISE EXPIECE range and measures approximately 21 cm.
The figure depicts Rebecca in her famous gladiator outfit from the Corrida Colosseum, directly inspired by the Dressrosa arc. Her long pink hair is styled in a plait, whilst a large blue-green cape flows behind her. She holds her sword in one hand and her round shield in the other, with the golden elements of her armour contrasting with the cooler tones of the cape. This look represents one of the character’s most recognisable incarnations.
Rebecca hails from the kingdom of Dressrosa. She is the daughter of Scarlett and Kyros, and the granddaughter of the former King Riku Doldo III. Her royal lineage was kept hidden for a long time in a kingdom where the past had been profoundly upended by Donquixote Doflamingo’s rise to power. The official One Piece website describes her specifically as King Riku’s granddaughter and notes that she was rejected by a population unaware of the truth about her background.
Rebecca becomes a gladiator at the Corrida Colosseum and takes part in the tournament organised around the Mera Mera no Mi. She fights in the hope of helping to bring about Doflamingo’s downfall. Despite the particularly brutal environment of the arena, her fighting style relies largely on evasion and defence rather than on inflicting harm on her opponents.
Her story is also closely linked to that of Kyros, a legendary former gladiator from Dressrosa who became the mysterious toy soldier who watched over her. The relationship between father and daughter is one of the key emotional threads of the Dressrosa arc. Following Doflamingo’s defeat, Rebecca ultimately decides against taking her rightful place in the palace so that she can live alongside her father. The official profile confirms that she leaves the role of princess to Viola and chooses to share her life with Kyros.
The Royal Princess collection directly reflects this identity: Rebecca is an heir to the Dressrosa royal family, but her journey is defined more by her life as a gladiator, her devotion to her father and her desire to regain a peaceful existence than by political power itself.
