Meet Roronoa Zoro, the fearsome swordsman of the Straw Hat crew, with this POP! Animation No. 2568 figure produced by Funko. This edition is part of the special ‘Shelf Sitter’ range, which depicts the character in a seated position rather than the traditional standing pose of POP! figures. It measures approximately 10.4 cm in height and features a base to ensure stability when on display.
This figure retains the key visual elements associated with Zoro: his green hair, his determined expression and his identity as a swordsman. The seated pose, however, offers a different take, designed to add variety to a collection dedicated to the Straw Hat Pirates.

Roronoa Zoro, nicknamed ‘the Pirate Hunter’, was the first member to join Monkey D. Luffy in the Straw Hat Pirates. Originally from the village of Shimotsuki in the East Blue, he has been striving since childhood to become the world’s greatest swordsman, a promise he made to his friend and rival Kuina. The official One Piece website now describes him as one of the pillars of the crew and a member of the ‘Worst Generation’.
His fighting style is based on Santoryu, or the three-sword technique. Zoro wields a blade in each hand whilst holding a third between his teeth, combining power, speed and endurance. His constant training enables him to develop attacks capable of slicing through extremely tough materials and to take on some of the most powerful fighters the crew has encountered.
Zoro is also characterised by his absolute loyalty to Luffy and his companions. Despite his stern and independent nature, he never hesitates to put his life on the line to protect the crew and occasionally reminds his captain of the responsibilities that come with his role. His seriousness, however, contrasts with his appalling sense of direction, a recurring source of humour during their voyages.
This POP! No. 2568 specifically features a calmer depiction of Zoro: rather than a pose in the midst of an attack, the Shelf Sitter format shows him sitting down, offering a different display option from the many Funko figures dedicated to his sword-fighting techniques.
