Origin and background of the character
Kuzan, better known by his former Admiral codename ‘Aokiji’ (the Blue Pheasant), is a legendary figure in the global epic One Piece created by manga artist Eiichiro Oda. A follower of a moral doctrine he himself describes as ‘lazy justice’, he stands out from other high-ranking officers through his Olympian calm, his unshakeable composure and his profound sense of human ethics. Possessing the exceptional powers of the Logia-type Devil Fruit known as the Ice-Ice Fruit (Hie Hie no Mi), Kuzan has the ability to create, control and transform his own body into ice at will, allowing him to instantly freeze sea monsters or vast stretches of ocean water so he can ride his bicycle across them at leisure.
This 12 cm figurine perfectly captures the character’s relaxed elegance and icy power through an iconic, confident pose. The sculpture meticulously highlights his unique style of dress, his delicate facial features concealed behind his usual calm demeanour, as well as the texture of his clothing. It is an absolute must-have for any collector wishing to relive the glory days of Marineford or follow the wanderings of this solitary traveller across the New World.
