Origin and background of the character
Nicknamed ‘King James’ or ‘The Chosen One’, LeBron James has established himself as one of the most dominant, decorated and influential athletes in the history of world sport, often at the centre of debates over the title of greatest player of all time (GOAT). After beginning his professional career with the Cleveland Cavaliers, whom he led to a historic and unforgettable championship victory in 2016 following a legendary final, followed by a memorable spell with the Miami Heat, he decided to join the prestigious Los Angeles Lakers. Combining an extraordinary vision of the game with exceptional athletic ability, he broke the league’s all-time scoring record and added another championship ring to his collection by propelling the Lakers to the summit. This large collector’s model pays a striking tribute to this living legend of the basketball court.
