Character background and lore
In the world of Naruto Shippuden, Shikamaru Nara is a ninja from the village of Konoha renowned for his extraordinary intellect, possessing an IQ of over 200, despite his apparent natural laziness. The Hidan and Kakuzu Arc marks a tragic and decisive turning point in his journey to adulthood. Following the brutal death of his beloved master, Asuma Sarutobi, who was slain by the duo of immortals from the criminal organisation Akatsuki, Shikamaru takes on the responsibility of a meticulously planned revenge mission. By symbolically taking up Asuma’s habit of smoking and using his chakra blades, he carries the ‘Will of Fire’ on his shoulders. This magnificent MASTERLISE figurine captures that pivotal moment when the nonchalant genius becomes a relentless leader, ready to wage his most personal and memorable battle.
