From Naruto Shippuden, this large Banpresto soft toy depicts Kurama, the famous Nine-Tailed Fox Demon associated with Naruto Uzumaki. Standing approximately 37 cm tall, it is part of the Super Big Plush range and features a stylised, compact interpretation of the Bijū. The official Naruto website describes this item as a large soft toy from the Mecha Mofugutto series, depicting Kurama sitting in a deliberately adorable pose.
Kurama retains the key features of his appearance: orange fur, large ears with black inner sections, dark markings around the eyes and a red gaze. Two small fangs protrude from his mouth, whilst his front paws are positioned vertically to stabilise the soft toy in a seated position. At the back, his nine tails are arranged in a fan-like pattern, forming one of the most distinctive visual features of this version.
The 37 cm size gives it a striking presence whilst retaining chibi proportions and a rounded silhouette, making it ideal for display on a bed, a sofa or in a space dedicated to Naruto. Its soft fabric construction also emphasises the plush feel characteristic of the Super Big Plush collection.

Kurama, formerly known primarily as the Nine-Tailed Fox Demon, is one of the nine Bijū, creatures possessing an extraordinary amount of chakra. His true name remained unknown to humans for a long time: he is simply called ‘Nine Tails’ in reference to his nine tails. The official Naruto website confirms that his name is Kurama and that he is one of these creatures endowed with immense reserves of chakra.
Shortly after Naruto Uzumaki’s birth, part of Kurama’s chakra was sealed inside the newborn by his father, Minato Namikaze, following the Nine-Tailed Fox’s attack on Konoha. Naruto thus grew up as the Kyûbi’s Jinchûriki, a situation that led to him being feared and rejected by some of the village’s inhabitants during his childhood.
The relationship between Naruto and Kurama begins as a deeply conflicted one. At first, Naruto sought to forcibly control the Bijuu’s chakra in order to enhance his own abilities. Over time, however, his determination, his refusal to abandon his companions and his willingness to understand others gradually changed Kurama’s attitude.
During the Fourth Great Ninja War, a decisive turning point occurs: Kurama finally agrees to help Naruto, and Naruto begins to call him by his real name. Their relationship then evolves from a forced coexistence into a genuine partnership, enabling Naruto, in particular, to access Kurama Link Mode and fight by fully synchronising his chakra with that of the Bijū.
This Super Big Plush soft toy therefore depicts, in a particularly soft and stylised form, a creature that plays a pivotal role throughout the entire story of Naruto: initially a source of fear and loneliness for the hero, Kurama gradually becomes one of his most important allies and partners.
