Origin and character’s universe
In the world of My Hero Academia, a superhero series created by Kōhei Horikoshi, Shoto Todoroki is one of the most promising students in Class 1-A at Yuei High School (U.A. High School). The son of Endeavour, the former number two hero who became number one, he has inherited a particularly powerful composite Quirk called ‘Ice and Fire’ (Half-Cold Half-Hot). This ability allows him to generate and manipulate ice with the right side of his body, and intense flames with his left. Long held back by resentment towards his family, he learns to accept the full extent of his powers in order to pursue his goal of becoming a professional hero.
This Banpresto creation captures the physical attributes of this young hero in a stylised and compact form. Shoto Todoroki is depicted with his distinctive two-tone hair, strictly divided into two parts: white on the right and red on the left. His face features a realistic reproduction of the thermal burn around his left eye. The soft toy is dressed in his official blue hero suit, complete with printed details such as his tactical belt and combat armour. The figure adopts a stable seated posture, with his hands clasped in front of him, illustrating the character’s calm and serious demeanour within the Japanese anime franchise.
