Origin and character background
The Creeper is the most iconic, feared and memorable hostile creature in the sandbox survival epic Minecraft, the best-selling video game in history created by Mojang Studios. Emerging silently from the darkness or from the depths of a cave, this green monster creeps silently towards players before emitting a characteristic sinister hiss, heralding a destructive explosion capable of demolishing even the most elaborate structures. Now a true icon of gaming culture, its unique design originated from a simple coding error during the initial modelling of a pig by developer Notch.
This 20 cm figurine from the "Cable Guys" collection perfectly captures the monster’s pixelated, geometric aesthetic. The sculpture meticulously highlights its armless rectangular body, its four small, stubby legs at the base, as well as its chequered texture in shades of green and its frozen facial expression displaying its famous black sad pout. The top of its head is ingeniously flat and stable, forming an ergonomic and secure platform to keep your game controllers or smartphones within easy reach. It is an absolute must-have for any gamer wishing to add an original, three-dimensional and practical touch to their gaming setup or desk.
