Brighten up your space with one of Minecraft’s most endearing companions thanks to this GloBuddies Cat decorative lamp, designed by Paladone. Featuring the game’s signature cubic aesthetic, it depicts a seated cat proudly holding a small glowing fish between its paws.
The lamp is a fully three-dimensional sculpted figure, with a square head, pricked-up ears and a long tail positioned to one side. Its pixelated fur blends different shades of brown, beige and white, whilst its large green eyes give it an instantly recognisable expression. The translucent fish it holds in its paws is the main light source for the whole piece.
A simple press turns the light on or off. Powered by two AA batteries, this lamp requires no cables and can therefore be easily placed on a bedside table, a desk, a shelf or in a dedicated gaming area. Its soft light makes it primarily a mood light and a decorative item rather than a task lamp.
Standing approximately 15 cm tall, the Chat GloBuddies lamp is a compact and original decorative piece for Minecraft players. It can also be displayed alongside other lamps, figurines or accessories inspired by the game’s iconic creatures and blocks.

In Minecraft, cats are passive creatures that players can encounter mainly in populated villages, but also in witches’ huts located in swamps. Several different coats and appearances exist in the game, allowing players to find and adopt cats with a variety of patterns.
A wild cat can be tamed using raw cod or raw salmon. Once tamed, it wears a collar, follows its owner and can be commanded to sit. Although it does not take part directly in combat, its presence is particularly useful: Creepers and Phantoms avoid approaching tamed cats.
The glowing fish held by this lamp is a reminder of the food used to win these companions’ trust. With their independent nature and their usefulness against certain hostile creatures, cats hold a special place in the hearts of players who wish to make their base more lively and better protected.
