Origin and character’s universe
The ‘Venomised’ Punisher originates from the Marvel Comics story arc exploring the Venomverse, where Earth’s most formidable heroes and anti-heroes come into contact with alien symbiotic entities. Originally, Frank Castle is the Punisher, a ruthless former soldier who became an urban vigilante following the tragic murder of his family by the underworld. When he fuses with the Klyntar symbiote, his military prowess combines with the creature’s wild, ever-changing and organic nature. This nightmarish alliance multiplies his physical abilities tenfold and generates deadly organic weapons from his own suit. It drives his obsessive quest for vengeance and his war on crime to unprecedented levels of violence, making this symbiotic version one of the most feared predators in the Marvel Universe.
