Origin and character background (Lore)

Spider-Man, whose real name is Peter Parker, is one of Marvel’s most iconic superheroes. A student with a particular talent for science, Peter acquires extraordinary abilities after being bitten by a spider exposed to radiation. In particular, he develops superhuman strength and agility, the ability to cling to surfaces, and a danger sense known as Spider-Sense.

Peter also designs his own web-shooters, which enable him to swing between New York’s skyscrapers and immobilise his opponents. After letting a criminal escape – a criminal who would later be responsible for the death of his Uncle Ben – he realises that his powers entail a responsibility towards others and chooses to devote his abilities to fighting crime.

Throughout his adventures, Spider-Man faces numerous enemies who have become iconic, whilst regularly teaming up with other Marvel heroes such as the Avengers or the Fantastic Four. His double life, balancing his responsibilities as a superhero with the everyday struggles of Peter Parker, is one of the character’s defining features.

This 20 cm Spider-Man figurative money box thus transforms one of Marvel’s most famous heroes into an object that is both functional and decorative, designed for fans and collectors alike.
